a). They definitely use more water than the average fitted shower and its water supply is taken from a stored source, so it is possible that you could run out of water if you’re not sensible about the way you use it.

b). These showers need a positive head, so the water storage tank needs to be located above the height of the shower head, which sometimes may not be possible.

c). Because they need a power supply for the pump, a qualified electrician will need to fit wiring.

d). Finally their looks are not that good, being large plastic boxes which can look as though you have just gone and stuck them to the bathroom wall.
